Your Unit Manager‘s primary function is to facilitate your treatment plan, coordinate the multi-disciplinary treatment team and ensure the smooth running of the Unit. Your Unit Manager will meet with you during your first day at the Clinic.

The first days of your admission are usually spent familiarising yourself with your new surroundings as well as building a therapeutic rapport with your treating team and Unit staff. To make this transition more comfortable we endeavour to allocate newly admitted patients a private room, however this is not always possible.

Each Unit has a comfortable lounge room and large television; laundry with washing machine, dryer, iron and ironing board; and tea and coffee-making facilities.  The patient noticeboards near the nurses office have a copy of the program timetable, information about Official Visitors, the cinema program and other general information.
